Sefton & Formby Developments Ltd will soon submit a planning application to deliver around 25,000 sq m of new employment space alongside the Formby bypass (A565). The site is allocated for employment development within Sefton Council’s Local Plan.
A limited proportion of the site will be made available for retail development uses which will provide private sector funding to enable the employment development to happen. Deals have been agreed with Lidl and M&S, who would open new foodstores at The Point. Costa Coffee has also agreed a deal for a coffee shop with drive-thru.
